Cake Icing Classes given by Mrs. J. Dinsdale from Carperby.

These cakes were the result of three cake icing lessons
given by Mrs. J. Dinsdale featured below

one of our treasures from Carperby.
Everyone worked extremely hard and some very professional cakes were produced.

Wrapped and ready.

This is Lizs' very first cake. The eggs came from her own chickens.
The sponge was as light as a feather in spite of a very temperamental oven.

Lizs' maternity cake covered with jelly babies.
The toy on the top is a pop up baby!! It wasn't that easy (giving birth)

Twelve swans a swimming. John Iveson won best swan competition.

Our very first attempt at cake decorating

This photo is making the flowers to go in the mazipan baskets.
