The chess set.
It's taken a long time to make but worth it.

Pollards' factory on Emmerdale
has got nothing on our workforce.
We made and painted all the nativity figures.
Then we made a stable to set the figures off.
It stands 3ft by 2ft 6ins.

A lot of very hard work went into making
this hobby horse.Jim Waterworth did the bulk of the work,
He also designed and made the wheels.
Myself and Stan Brook helped Jim with the head, it was very difficult to stuff.
Even with all the difficulties I think we enjoyed the challenge.
